I’ve been designing digital products for more than a decade and creating experiences that people enjoy using. I joined Kekombo because I believe language exchanges can be fun, and I'd like to make learning and connecting more joyful — and, of course, because I wanted to use it myself.

Hi, Kekombo!

A short 12-years-long story

During my first 10 years in Switzerland, I tried to forget that one day I should speak German. I knew some, but I wouldn't speak it. I always paid "Mit der Karte", smiled, and slept well. Until I couldn't sleep well anymore and signed up for an intensive German course. Studying and grammar? A must.

Language meetups made the difference. I got the courage to speak regardless of mistakes, I got fluent, and then I got bored too. 😂 Topics were mostly the weather, whether we like living here, our jobs, and of course AI.

I soon began prototyping Kekombo to reimagine language events with structure and novelty. My mission: give participants fresh inspiration and frameworks for engaging, meaningful conversations, while giving event organizers tools to manage their events A-Z, reduce operations, and scale their events and communities.
